The Bernese Mountain Dog is a gentle, cheerful dog that loves children. They are very intelligent, easy to train and are natural watch dogs but not overly aggressive. A friend for life. The Bernese Mountain Dog is very loyal and may have trouble adjusting to a new owner after they are 18 months old. Self-confident, alert and good-natured. They are fairly friendly with strangers, and are generally good with other pets and dogs. These dogs may by slow to mature, remaining boisterous and puppy-like for quite awhile. The Bernese needs to be with people and not relegated to the backyard or kennel run. Like any dog, the Bernese Mountain Dog should be well socialized as a puppy. These dogs are sensitive and should be trained gently, and as any large breed dog, not kept on concrete for extended periods of time.
We operate a small home-based kennel as Mountain Dog breeders. Occasionally, we have a few Bernese and Greater Swiss Mountain dog puppies available. We want others to enjoy the awesome nature of the Bernese mountain dog. Our breeding dogs are imported.The American Breeders we contacted about a Mountain dog were very rude and demanding. We promise never to treat anyone how we were treated.
To purchase our puppies:
- You will not be required to fill out extensive applications and screenings.
- Our puppies are bred to be great family companions.
- They are not inbred - most show quality dogs are.
